'Platinum Selection': pre-owned excellence with Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft

Forlì, 20th January 2008 - Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft launch "Platinum Selection", the exclusive programme that extends to pre-owned yachts a series of valuable services until now offered only to newly-registered motoryachts.<br /><br />The programme will at first be rolled out in Italy by the Luxury Yacht Corporation (LYC), the exclusive Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft dealer for the country. The pre-owned yachts in their portfolio will be supervised and certified by the Shipyard itself, checking the overall functionality and offering added value services to new and existing owners. The programme will then be extended across the dealer network for all the Ferretti Group companies.<br /><br />The thorough verification and certification process for the yachts will be carried out in a number of stages. These include an inspection by the Shipyard's Service Department to assess the functioning of engines, generators and all other on board equipment, a Survey Report and a list of any maintenance and repair operations that need to be carried out. Once this work has been completed under the Shipyard's supervision, the yacht can become a "Platinum Selection" pre-owned model.<br /><br />The survey is followed by a complete cleaning and hygiene service throughout the boat - mattresses, cushions, carpets and anything else judged necessary is replaced to offer the highest levels of comfort and well-being. At this point the yacht can take full advantage of the "Platinum Selection" guarantee offered by the dealer and managed directly by the Shipyard.<br /><br />"Platinum Selection" means that a range of owner services normally reserved for new yachts will now become a reality for the pre-owned ones. They include:<br /><br />- Summer assistance and emergency services (from the end of March to the end of September with call centres operating seven days a week from 0900 to 1800 including Sundays and public holidays)<br />- Availability of the entire Service Points and Ferretti Customer Care network<br />- Access to the spare parts warehouse with over 5,000 items always available.<br /><br />Once again Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft show outstanding care and attention towards their Clients, offering them guaranteed services for pre-owned yachts that are totally innovative in the luxury yacht sector, with the aim of reflecting the Shipyard's well-established reputation for ensuring total peace of mind when acquiring its boats.
