Ferretti Group is ‘Shipyard of the Year’ winning as many as 5 awards at the World Yachts Trophies 2017

The Group celebrates its presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival with five amazing victories. Besides being named best Shipyard of the Year, it was awarded for the following premières: Ferretti Yachts 780, Riva 56’ Rivale, CRN 74 m Cloud 9, and Custom Line Navetta 33.

The 40th Cannes Yachting Festival will be remembered by Ferretti Group as an event of new records and triumphs. The Group was indeed awarded ‘Shipyard of the Year’ and won another four awards at the World Yachts Trophies 2017.

The Group can therefore celebrate five awards at this edition of the prestigious Trophies held by the nautical magazine “Yachts France”, which for 16 years have awarded the best new models presented at this unique and extraordinary ‘stage’ on the Cote d’Azur.

This is undoubtedly a magic moment for the Group, which had already been a ‘record-setter’ at this year’s edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival by exhibiting the largest fleet of the show - as many as 24 models ranging from 8 to 37 metres in length - as well as the largest number of premières, 6, representing the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Riva, and Custom Line brands.
These five fabulous awards have further acknowledged the value of some of the new models recently presented to the market and of Ferretti Group as a whole, able to firmly regain the top of worldwide yachting in just 3 years.

“Speaking in poker terms, we really had all it took to make this ‘Royal Flush’, and we are therefore extremely proud of these five incredible awards, which pay tribute to the beauty of our magnificent yachts, as well as to the great commitment that our Group, at all levels, has devoted to the business over the last few years. Our efforts have allowed us to successfully reverse the trend and go back to where Ferretti Group deserves to be: at the top of world yachting - commented the Group’s CEO Alberto Galassi.

“The Best Shipyard of the Year award at the World Yachts Trophies 2017, together with the other 4 won by Ferretti Yachts, Riva, CRN, and Custom Line also recognise the success and soundness of our industrial plan: we were able to launch 24 new models in 3 years and to achieve outstanding results that will now allow us to take up the next challenges posed by the market with even stronger will and enthusiasm.

We are working on 2018, when we will be presenting 8 new models and will celebrate important accomplishments and milestones, including the 50th anniversary of Ferretti Yachts. Today we are savouring our triumph, but tomorrow we will go back to working on the challenges ahead of us in this new nautical year. Our Group has ambitious objectives and clear strategies; we have human and financial resources to achieve them. We will keep growing”.

Here are the 5 awards won by the Ferretti Group at the World Yachts Trophies 2017:

- Ferretti Yachts 780: Best Interior Design Trophy, category from 50 to 80 feet (15-24 metres);
- Riva 56’ Rivale: Most Achieved Trophy, category from 50 to 80 feet (15 – 24 metres);
- Custom Line Navetta 33: Best Exterior Design Trophy – category from 80 to 125 feet (24-38 metres). The new Riva 100’ Corsaro had also been nominated in this category;
- CRN 74 m “Cloud 9”: Best Layout Trophy, category from 164 to 270 feet (50-82 metres)
- Ferretti Group: Special Trophy Best Shipyard of the Year

Today, the Group, together with its Owners, is celebrating this extraordinary triumph and is getting ready for the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show, due to start on 27 September, where three of these Trophies’ champions will be on display: Custom Line Navetta 33, Pershing 108, and CRN 74 m “Cloud 9” - the latter as a world première at the Monaco event.

Ferretti Yachts 780: protagonist in Cannes

Ferretti Yachts 780: protagonist in Cannes

The new flybridge yacht, natural heir in the 75-foot category and the ideal link between the under 70-foot fleet and larger vessels, makes its worldwide debut at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The new Ferretti Yachts 780 is the magnificent result of an intelligent evolution, the boat where you wish to be when you dream of a modern and rewarding sailing experience. A fantastic flybridge yacht that fulfils its owner’s every desire in terms of comfort, style, seaworthiness and safety.

It is therefore only natural that this astonishing craft sparked such a high level of anticipation and interest long before its official début, which is set to take place from 12 to 17 September under the most brilliant and prestigious spotlights on the international boating scene, those of the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Ferretti Yachts 780, product of the collaboration between the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, its Engineering Department and the Studio Zuccon International Project, has inherited many of the successful features of models launched over the last three years (Ferretti Yachts 550, 700, 450 and 850), to which new and important elements have been added in a continuation of the philosophy – part of our brand’s heritage since its founding – of always developing cutting-edge solutions.

This philosophy is evident in its aerodynamic design, manifested in sleek lines and clean shapes, accentuated by the choice to resize the height of the hull's topsides, to the benefit of the yacht's overall sporty character. The hull design, in particular, takes from the Ferretti Yachts 450 and 550 the stylistic feature consisting of three windows corresponding to the guest cabins. In the superstructure we find a design we can recognise from Ferretti’s over 80-foot flybridge yachts, to which is added the front and side dome at the helm station.

STERN AREA
An important innovation can be found in the area aft, which offers the comforts of a real beach club, thanks to the new tailgate operating system. Above the large swimming platform - where a tender can be stored upon request - the two sections that form the tailgate can be lowered together or separately. These contain two large sun pads which, once the tailgate is fully opened, transform the space into a relaxing area close to the water. Ample storage spaces have been built into the sides of the companionway leading up to the cockpit, which can be used to store a seabob, ropes and other technical material.

EXTERIORS
The outdoor area located forward features a private lounge of considerable size, comparable to the sort you would find on a maxi yacht. It is fitted with a U-shaped sofa and a vast central sun pad with lockers located beneath it.

The large flybridge sports a hard top equipped with a fixed window. It is furnished with free-standing furniture to aft and amidships. Meanwhile, forward to starboard, the helm station is provided with a small table and two facing sofas that can be converted into sun pads. All of the outdoor furnishings have been developed in collaboration with the Italian company Roda.
INTERIORS
Beyond the glass door of the cockpit, you enter the main deck lounge, located on a single level and fitted with exquisite Mardegan parquet flooring in brushed oak. Resting atop the elegant Stepevi carpet we find a large C-shaped sofa by Minotti, the Freeman “Lounge” model, upholstered in Ecru fabric and ocean-blue leather, adorned with decorative cushions by Casamance. Three Aeron accent tables by Minotti, one veneered in Sucupira and two each with a lacquer finish, one in Sand and the other in Corten, complete the furnishings. Beyond the living space is the dining area, with its large table and Dea model chairs by Potocco, seating up to 8 guests.

As on a larger yacht, the forward section of the deck is divided by a bulkhead, in Florim portoro, with the galley occupying the starboard side. Upon request, the galley can instead be made open to the lounge, creating a single space stretching to the foredeck.

The raised pilot house, furnished with two facing sofas, is a technical area featuring a next-gen steering system, the same as on the Ferretti Yachts 920: the instrumentation, composed of multiple touchscreen displays, integrates the craft's navigation systems with the controls for its technical instruments and propulsion systems. A door on the starboard side provides rapid access to the exterior walkway. Meanwhile, on the port side bulwark, owner and guests will find a companionway that will allow them to proceed down towards the sleeping cabins independently.

Once below deck, a corridor coordinates circulation flows to and from the 4 guest cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. The full-beam Master Stateroom enjoys magnificent natural light thanks to double glazed windows with integrated flush portholes, over which can be drawn fine Zimmer - Rohde curtains. It is furnished with a double bed with a Minotti headboard and pillows by Casamance. The bathroom, located behind the bed along the port side bulwark, features a separate shower, decorated with Casamood Neutra mosaics. In the same aft area, but on the starboard side, is a walk-in closet partially concealed by a bulkhead with cladding in Vetrite glass panels by SICIS. Low furnishings, with a vanity and study area, a sofa and a lounge chair complete the space.

Before reaching the VIP cabin located at the foredeck, there is a lobby that leads to the two guest cabins, one to starboard, with a separable double bed, and another, with twin beds, to port, both decorated in the same style chosen for the master cabin and the main deck.

Far aft, separated from the guest areas by the engine room, is the crew area, which can be accessed from the cockpit. Designed with comfort in mind, it is among the most spacious in this market segment. It includes a cabin for the captain and a second, with two bunk beds, for the crew. Each cabin has its own separate bathroom. In the standard version, there is a storage area in place of the captain's cabin.

A watertight door leads directly to the engine room, which is also accessible via the cockpit hatch.

ENGINES
The first Ferretti Yachts 780 is equipped with an optional engine assembly consisting of twin MAN engines, providing 1550 MHP and ensuring the yacht a cruising speed of 27 knots and a top speed of 31 knots (preliminary data). To ensure maximum comfort even when at anchor, this new 78-footer is also equipped with a Seakeeper stabiliser.

Ferretti Group at the Cannes Yachting Festival with record breaking figures

The Group is an absolute star of the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival with a fleet of 25 yachts, the largest of the event, and 6 premieres, indeed a record of this edition. The Group presented brilliant financial and economic data for the current year, which consolidate its position at the top of the nautical world.

Ferretti Group participates at the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival, riding the wave of success that distinguishes its activity in the last few years, full of news and record numbers. At the Côte d'Azur show that indicates the official beginning of the new nautical year, the Group exhibits the largest fleet of the event, 25 yachts from 8 to 37 meters, amongst which also the magnificent Rivamare at the entrance of the kermesse, in front of Palais des Festival.

After an exciting and rich summer agenda, Ferretti Group’s press conference opened the Cannes Yachting Festival that has long been one of the world's leading events.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, together with the Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano de Vivo, presented the financial results achieved until August 2017, with figures, even in this case, that go beyond expectations, confirming the targets for the entire year.
"For the nautical world Cannes is like the Oscar night. In this occasion, one can tell who are the yacht builders that really count, who is truly growing and at what speed. It is no coincidence that our Group has the largest number of yachts on display and the most global premiers amongst all participants: 6 world premier models of open, coupe, flybridge and maxi yachts, representing 4 of our brands.

It is the confirmation that our industrial plan is proceeding in the best possible way" - said Mr. Alberto Galassi. "These new models, alongside the others on display, represent a fantastic fleet of 25 yachts between 8 and 37 meters. Moreover, today in Cannes we also announce brilliant and over the expectation financial results, obtained by investing in our resources, time and energy, of a Group at the top of the nautical world. Thus, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the first eight months of 2017 have been characterized by an order book in line with our goals and sound financial data."

As at August 31st, 2017, Ferretti Group recorded a consolidated order book for serial brands equal to 259 million Euros, in line with the budget estimates for the current financial year. The Group expects to close the year with a total purchase order for serial brands of around 400 million Euros, confirming and consolidating the extraordinary result already achieved in 2016.

The Group continued its strong commercial penetration on a global scale. In percentage terms, as at August 31st, 2017, Europe - Middle East - Africa contributed for 53% of new orders, Americas for 28% and Asia Pacific for 19%.

The commercial success and the continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity in all the Group’s shipyards led to the achievement, after the first 8 months of 2017, of consolidated revenues of 344 million Euros, +10% compared to the same period of 2016.

EBIT and EBITDA, as at August 31st, are both positive, 24.5 million and 37.3 million Euros, respectively.
These results led to a firmly positive profit before taxes, reaching 16.5 million Euros as of August 31st, 2017, with a 57% increase compared to the results 12 months ago.

The Ferretti Group stand is set up in the Espace Riviera PALAIS057 JETEE 011 exhibition area, while the Custom Line yachts are moored at the Super Yacht Extension, in front of the SYE193 lounge. At JETEE 008 pier visitors can admire Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing and Itama fleets, moored in front of their respective lounges.

In addition to the 6 new yachts, Ferretti Group’s fleet in Cannes is composed of:

Ferretti Group’s premiers and new models at Cannes Yachting Festival 2017
FERRETTI YACHTS 920
The Ferretti Yachts 920 flybridge stands out thanks to its monumental, dynamic forms, its innovative design features, its superb functional flexibility and the vast spaces in its ground-breaking bow area, all of which can be used by guests. The interiors are just as breath taking. They are worthy of a super yacht, with numerous spacious relaxation areas and sophisticated layouts steeped in original, unprecedented elegance.

FERRETTI YACHTS 780
This flybridge of 24 meters is a perfect blend of comfort, style, seaworthiness and safety. This yacht is the magnificent result of an intelligent evolution, the boat where you wish to be when you dream of a modern and rewarding sailing experience. Its aerodynamic design is manifested in sleek lines and clean shapes, accentuated by the choice to resize the height of the hull's topsides, to the benefit of the yacht's overall sporty character.

FERRETTI YACHTS 550 RESTYLING
The restyling was based on a concept that was already so admired accentuating the innovative elements. The main deck’s uninterrupted glazing once more ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, emphasising its dynamic look. The three large glazed windows on the hull sides, with flush portholes – the cabin windows – perfectly complement the overall design and grant magnificent views from the interiors, as well as plenty of natural light. It is in the design of the interiors, however, that the restyling took an original and surprising approach, which can be seen in the extremely refined choice of furnishings, made possible thanks to partnerships with the most prestigious luxury brands, offering the most sophisticated expressions of “Made in Italy” quality.

PERSHING 9X
The second chapter of the new "Generation X" is a maxi coupe with aggressive lines and lavish comfort. The new 9X has a broad use of carbon as the main construction material, along with fiberglass and epoxy resin. The result is a powerful yacht in the sea, rich in fittings and equipped with numerous technological innovations that offer a unique navigation experience and ease of maneuver, even in confined waters, unthinkable on a yacht over 90 feet. The prestigious ten-year collaboration with Poltrona Frau gave birth to a magnificent design: an extremely sporty dashboard, a stylistic and technical masterpiece, ready to surprise the world.

RIVA 100’ CORSARO
A descendent from legendary models, the new flybridge yacht is the perfect blend of comfort, performance, style and safety. Its majestic size is complemented - in an exceptionally balanced way - by a sporty look distinguished by a sleek outline, metallic colours in dark shades and broad expanses of glass. It is equipped with advanced and has been built with the greatest attention paid to detail in its design.

56’ Rivale expresses great dynamism, elegance and sportiness from the moment you set your eyes on it, thanks to the design elements that have made Riva open yachts unique in the world. The new 56-foot Riva yacht is a boat with a unique style, excellent performance at sea and cutting-edge technological solutions. It combines the utmost attention to every detail with the use of the finest quality materials - the distinctive hallmarks of the brand - from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, as well as lacquered finishes, stainless steel details, mirrored and glazed surfaces, and superior leathers.

CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 33
The Navetta 33 introduces considerable technical advances to the series, which serve to complement the innovations that have already been admired in previous Custom Line models. The design of the bottom continues in the direction first taken by the Navetta 37. The hull of the Navetta 33 features a bulbous forward to ensure performance at the top of its class in terms of seaworthiness, stability and, most of all, efficiency in any seas. The yacht offers fabulous spaces to owners and their guests across all four decks: from the wide body Master Suite forward on the main deck through to the four guest cabins on the lower deck.

Ferretti Yachts 550: A masterpiece renewed

Making its début at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 is one of the brand’s greatest recent successes, the new version of its famous flybridge yacht, with over 20 units produced and sold in two years.

Is it possible to improve a masterpiece of the nautical art, a yacht that, in two years, has won over both critics and the market? The answer is a crystal clear affirmative, carried on the still-warm summertime wind of Cannes, which from 12 to 17 September will caress the new, magnificent version of the Ferretti Yachts 550.

The restyling was, in a sense, a simple enough task, considering it was based on a concept that was already so admired. For this reason Ferretti Group chose to accentuate those innovative elements, introduced two years ago, which had already achieved such incredible success.

Therefore, the main deck’s uninterrupted glazing once more ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, emphasising its dynamic look. Then there are the three large glazed windows on the hull sides, with flush portholes – the cabin windows – that perfectly complement the overall design and grant magnificent views from the interiors, as well as plenty of natural light.

It is in the design of the interiors, however, that the restyling took an original and surprising approach, which can be seen in the extremely refined choice of furnishings, made possible thanks to partnerships with the most prestigious luxury brands, offering the most sophisticated expressions of “Made in Italy” quality.

The new Ferretti Yachts 550 is, as always, the brilliant outcome of cooperation between the Ferretti Group’s Project Strategy Committee and Engineering Department and the Studio Zuccon International Project. The yacht combines elegance with a sporty character, enhanced by sophisticated style choices.

AFT AREA AND MAIN DECK INTERIORS
The dominant type of wood, throughout the entire vessel, is flamed walnut from the Piero Lissoni Collection by ALPI. It has been combined with opaque, greyish-beige and quartz-coloured lacquered surfaces and a light-coloured fabric that not only provides the character for the sofas and the surfaces of the furnishings, but has also been used to upholster the ceiling panel of the main deck. The result is a space that feels even more like a home, furnished with all those details that make it feel “familiar” to its owner, who has the feeling he is sailing in a floating suite.

Access is via the aft swimming platform, thanks to several steps integrated in the hull’s starboard, to which an electrical-hydraulic gangway leading directly to the cockpit may also be added. The aft swimming platform features a tender lift with a slide that extends for over one metre, allowing a tender of up to 3.25 metres in length to be easily and safely launched and hauled in. When the tender lift is operated, it reveals some steps in the hull that make it possible to go into or come out of the water extremely easily.

Aft, the cockpit is furnished with a central sofa, to the port side of which is a large underdeck locker that can alternately be converted into a sailor’s cabin, and a low cabinet to forward starboard where the icemaker can be installed.

In addition to the glazed window, the large open space is equipped with a galley to starboard, furnished with a custom-made L-shaped worktop in quartz resin, with the pantry to the port side. Further on, we find a C-shaped sofa and a dining table to starboard, as well as another sofa facing it on the port side. Beyond this, the pilot station can be found.

LOWER DECK
The décor of the lower deck, reflecting the greatest possible care for details, is the same found on the main deck. The ceiling panel, however, is upholstered in ivory fabric. The layout includes three guest cabins and two heads.

The full-beam master stateroom is preceded by an entrance room fitted with a storage cabinet and, upon request, a second washing machine/tumble dryer. The central double bed, characterised by a band and headboard in sand-coloured Novabuk fabric, stands beside a low cabinet, to starboard, which runs along the entire glazing.

To port side is a dinette with two facing seats and a square table. The owner’s head provides the benefit of a second full-height glazed surface that lets light shine through to brighten the shower box, which is separated from the toilet by a glass wall. The shower top and bench are lacquered grey-beige, as are the window frames and the vertical cabinets. The washbasin is supplied by Flaminia Pass and the taps by Treemme Xero.

The VIP cabin at the foredeck, just like the twin guest cabin, features a décor similar to that of the master stateroom. It has two wardrobes and a vanity set with a pouffe, which in the layout with three heads can be replaced by a private bathroom with shower.

FLYBRIDGE AND FORWARD DINETTE
The new version of this 55-footer offers owner and guests two large outdoor relaxation areas, in addition to the cockpit. The flybridge is dominated by a large dinette area with a C-shaped sofa surrounding the extendible table. To make the most of on-board space, the life rafts have been stored under the aft seats. The section of backrest facing the pilot station can be tilted to convert the part of the sofa facing in cruising direction into a double seat for captain and co-pilot.

The forward lounge is fitted with facing sofas and, upon request, a retractable extendible table, which is stored in the body of the sofa facing in cruising direction and can be folded out to dine in the utmost privacy. A large sunbathing area is located on the foredeck, fitted with a double-edged sunpad that also serves as a backrest for the dinette aft seat.

ENGINES
The yacht is equipped with a pair of MAN i6-730 CR engines, having a power of 735 MHP at 2,300 RPM. These engines can push the vessel to a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots, with a range of 280 and 310 nautical miles, respectively (preliminary data). A bow thruster is installed standard on the Ferretti Yachts 550, while a gyroscope stabilizing system can be installed upon request to ensure even more comfort at anchor and facilitate berthing manoeuvres.

Ferretti Yachts 920: A big star in Cannes

Ferretti Yachts 920: A big star in Cannes

The new maxi flybridge yacht makes its international début at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The flybridge yacht which has already got people talking about its innovative design and extreme operational flexibility, could not have chosen any stage but this, the top showcase of the international nautical industry, for its worldwide début.

That is why, from 12 to 17 September, the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival will be hosting a première that is among the most highly anticipated by boat owners and enthusiasts alike, that of the majestic and alluring Ferretti Yachts 920.

Fruit of the collaboration between the Ferretti Group’s Project Strategy Committee and its Engineering Department, working alongside the Studio Zuccon International Project, this gigantic new Ferretti Yachts - 28.49 m LOA - has a hull measuring 23.98 metres, which means it can be registered as a recreational craft.

The Ferretti Yachts 920 has a dynamic, irrepressible profile, thanks to the same stylistic design features that have completely modernised the models launched in recent years and ensured their international success.

The first major new feature involves raising the height of the bow. As well as giving the yacht an imposing presence on the water, this has allowed the addition of a wide-body master suite on the main deck.
The detailing on the gunwale, which also helps to emphasise the yacht’s ‘aggressive’ character, continues beyond the bulwark walkways, ‘cutting’ into the design of the windows in the master cabin.

EXTERIOR
The exterior spaces offer an impressive amount of space for relaxation as well as luxurious furnishings, both built-in and free-standing, the latter by the famous Italian company Roda, specialised in outdoor furniture.

The space located forward, in particular, is the largest ever on a Ferretti Yachts vessel of this size. The sun pad on the bridge house leads into a dinette fitted with two forward-facing sofas - divided by a passageway - and a pair of sofas with adjustable backrests along the bulwark. This creates a large lounge, complete with coffee tables, which can be protected and shaded by sun canopies upon request.

The cockpit features a multipurpose sofa, which can be used as a sun pad or as a seat for the outdoor dining table. The stern area features a Submersible Hatch, the famous system used to move the garage door and swimming platform, offering guests all the comfort of a spacious beach club and allowing the crew to handle a tender measuring up to 4 m in length with ease.

The flybridge is a panoramic deck designed for relaxation, especially amidships and in the stern. It is covered by a special blacked-out window situated over the dining area and outdoor helm station. The bar unit beneath, which can be configured to suit the specific needs of each owner, features a Florim top in travertine.

INTERIOR
The interiors rival the stunning versions in higher category models.
The lounge, with its anthracite-grey parquet flooring, is panelled almost entirely in exquisite walnut wood with chocolate tones, alternating with enamelled accents in different colours. The built-in furniture, upholstered in stone-grey leather, serves to complement the lounge’s furnishings as a whole, all of which are by Minotti, from the fabric-upholstered Powell sofa and coordinated Creed armchair in nubuck leather, to the Duchamp and Calder coffee tables, whose finishings in Bronze and Calacatta Gold blend elegantly with the rest of the room’s appointments. In the dining area you will find a table in smoked grey glass with an enamelled base, along with 8 Velis lounge armchairs, in nubuck leather, by Potocco, just another one of the wide range of optional features that Ferretti Yachts has to offer. A back-lighting system, provided along with the same ceiling panel lacquered in optical white that can be found in all of the craft's main spaces, serves to complete the luxurious contemporary style of the lounge.

Below deck we find the same chocolate-tone walnut wood and enamelled accents, alternating with fine leather and customisable upholstery.

In the wide body master stateroom, the bed is supported by a recessed base that makes it appear as though it is “floating”, while above it a large mirror emphasises the cabin’s generous size. Meanwhile, the expansive windows, covered by gathered curtains, provide a stunning view of the panorama outside. The furnishings include a vanity table and a walk-in closet. The full-beam bathroom is located at the foredeck, on a slightly lower level. Parquet flooring, Antolini marble, mosaics, and brass accenting characterise this space, which is divided into three separate sections: one for the toilet, one for the shower, and another where the sinks are located, above which hangs an OmniDecor DecorFlou Bronze mirror.

The central area of the deck is designed to control the circulation flows on board. There is a lobby to the starboard side with a companionway leading down to the lower deck, a large storage area and a day toilet. On the port side is a large galley, all by Ernestomeda, from which you can go up to the helm station or out onto the exterior walkway. Continuing forward, there is the first technical and system monitoring area, beyond which is the companionway leading down to the crew quarters.

Two layouts are available for the main area of the lower deck: the first unit includes 3 large en-suite cabins.

This exclusive layout allows the Ferretti Yachts 920 to offer guests a full-beam double suite amidships, worthy of being called a master cabin, and a second VIP suite on the port side with the exact same set-up. A comfortable third cabin with single beds completes the sleeping area. The furnishings in these cabins and in their bathrooms feature the same interplay of materials and colours as on the main deck, but with specific customised variations.

The 4-cabin layout is organised into two en-suite double cabins on the port side and two doubles with single beds on the starboard side. Great attention is paid to the crew: in addition to a dinette with laundry area, the captain can enjoy a private en-suite cabin, while the crew can relax in two double cabins with a shared bathroom fitted with a separate shower. A second layout is also available for this area, with a captain’s cabin at the foredeck.

The pilot house is an exclusively technical area with a ‘futuristic’ design. The captain can run the entire yacht from here, thanks to a large control station equipped with a next-gen steering system and multiple touchscreen displays that fully integrate all of the on-board monitoring systems and navigation instruments.

ENGINE
The Ferretti Yachts 920 is available with three different types of MTU engine. The first unit comes fitted with two 16V, 2000 M96 engines, generating 2435 MHP, allowing the yacht to reach a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. (preliminary data). The Ferretti Yachts 920 also includes zero-speed fins and Seakeeper stabilisers.

“Extraordinary World”: the concert by Duran Duran organised by the Ferretti Group in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco

The exclusive live performance has opened the 2017 edition of the Ferretti Group Private Preview. Through tomorrow evening yacht Owners have the opportunity to admire the entire Group fleet in this special preview, including the 6 models making their international débuts, which will be displayed for the public as of Tuesday, 12 September, at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

When Duran Duran appeared on a stage that seemed to skim the water’s surface and surrounded by magnificent boats, the Ferretti Group's guests must certainly have felt that they could identify with the sentiment expressed by the title of one of this legendary British band’s famous songs: All You Need Is Now.

The spectacle and glamour of this memorable event were made tangible in the enchanting Monégasque night.
A live performance full of hit songs and energy once again proved Duran Duran's boundless talent, as they switched between irresistible dance rhythms and the pop songs that have made music history for the last thirty years.

The Ferretti Group and the Yacht Club De Monaco renewed a partnership that is unique worldwide and capable of producing an unforgettable event for the third year in a row.
“Extraordinary World”, a name inspired by Ordinary World, one of the British band's most famous hits, was the name given to this private concert celebrating the Ferretti Group’s unique and extraordinary ability to design and build yachts that go far beyond the ordinary.

“I have followed Duran Duran's career since they first started out, and I have always loved their songs as well as their ability to change and experiment without ever losing their identity or their inspiration”, commented the Ferretti Group's Chief Executive Officer, Alberto Galassi.

“Duran Duran agreed to put on this one-time, one-of-a-kind concert for our yacht Owners and for the members of the Yacht Club de Monaco. They are an extraordinary band, which, like our yachts, has style, personality, and that ability to innovate and experiment which always puts you a step above the rest, in music as in shipbuilding.

It’s no coincidence that they have come through diverse eras but always remained at the top. Thanks to their music and our guests, the Ferretti Group Private Preview 2017 has once again been an evening to remember.”

The set list, which elicited an enthusiastic response from the over 500 guests, was a triumphant parade of hits ranging from Ordinary World to the songs that first made the band famous, like Wild Boys, Notorious, Hungry Like a Wolf, Girls on Film, A View to a Kill and the more recent Pressure Off and White Lines. The encore was marked by the legendary hits Save a Prayer and Rio.

“We are happy that our renewed partnership with the Ferretti Group was able to produce this fabulous private concert”, declared Bernard d’Alessandri, Secretary General of the Yacht Club de Monaco. “And we were delighted to welcome Simon Le Bon, who is passionate about yachting. I also remember well his participation in the 1985/1986 Whitbread on Drum, a truly unique sailing adventure.”

A fleet consisting of a full 25 vessels, moored in front of the Yacht Club and representing all of the Ferretti Group brands provided a luxurious backdrop for the concert, rendering even more extraordinary this event that opened the third edition of the yearly Private Preview.

From their privileged positions in seats on the Quai Louis II and from the terraces of the Yacht Club, guests were able to admire 6 new yachts that are making their international première: the new flybridge boats Ferretti Yachts 780 and Ferretti Yachts 920, the Pershing 9X, the new Riva flybridge yacht 100’ Corsaro and the most recent addition to the open fleet, the 56’ Rivale, along with the Navetta 33, the second semi-displacement ship in the Custom Line fleet.

All are available until tomorrow afternoon, along with the rest of the fleet, for exclusive tours and sea trials, and are ready to set sail, upon conclusion of the Preview, for Cannes, where, from Tuesday the 12th to Sunday the 17th of September, they will be the stars of the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival.

The first Ferretti Yachts 920 is launched

Having taken to the water in Cattolica, the maxi-flybridge is preparing for its internationalde but at the Ferretti Group Private Preview in Monte Carlo in early September.

The sea awaited reverentially and eagerly as the new 92-footer by Ferretti Yachts entered the water with the calm might of a nautical giant. The launch of the first Ferretti Yachts 920 (28.49 metres) took place on 20 July at the brand’s private dock, which is just a few waves away from the shipyard in Cattolica.

The Ferretti Yachts 920 is a flybridge yacht like no other. It stands out thanks to its monumental, dynamic forms, its innovative design features (such as the wide body concept of the owner’s suite on the main deck), its superb functional flexibility (including the option of switching from a four cabins to a five cabins version), and the vast spaces in its ground-breaking bow area, all of which can be used by guests.

The interiors are just as breathtaking. They are worthy of a super yacht, with numerous spacious relaxation areas and sophisticated layouts steeped in original, unprecedented elegance. As always, the new yacht was produced in partnership by Zuccon International Project, the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee.

The new flybridge yacht will make its official debut at the Ferretti Group Private Preview in Monte Carlo (8-10 September), before its international public première at Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September).

In the shipyard, work has already begun on the next units, which will be launched in the coming months: the second Ferretti Yachts 920 will be transported to the United States, where it will be unveiled in style at Yachts Miami Beach in February 2018, while the third vessel - which features the famous Tai He Ban layout designed by Ferretti Yachts for Far East markets and owners - will also make its first appearance next year in Asia.

“2017 has been another year full of all sorts of exciting news for Ferretti Yachts, which is celebrating another memorable occasion: the outstanding Ferretti Yachts 920 technical launch,” stated Stefano de Vivo, the Chief Commercial Officer of the Ferretti Group.
“Like our other yachts, we are sure that this new model will attract a great deal of interest in Europe and the United States, where it will be presented in the coming months and help to get a landmark year for the brand underway.

In 2018, Ferretti Yachts will celebrate half a century in business: a magnificent milestone that it has reached in exceptional form, with six new models presented in three years and great prospects for growth and even more international success.”

The new Ferretti Yachts 780 hits the water

After its technical launch, the new flybridge yacht is set for its world premiere, in early September, at the Ferretti Group Private Preview, followed by a dense schedule of shows from Cannes to Fort Lauderdale and Düsseldorf.

It descended onto the water with regal magnificence, radiating the magnetic charm of a true king of the waves. The manoeuvring operations from the plant and the technical launch of the new Ferretti Yachts 780 marked an exciting milestone in the almost 50-year history of Ferretti Yachts, a brand which has become a worldwide icon of Made in Italy flybridge designs.

Its latest creation – a perfect blend of comfort, style, seaworthiness and safety – hit the water last 22 June in Cattolica, where the Group's production facility for flybridge yachts between 75 and 96 feet is located.

The new model was born from the collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Studio Zuccon International Project. With a length of 78.9 feet (24 metres), it represents an ideal link between the under-70 fleet and the larger vessels.

“The launch of Ferretti Yachts 780 is a major step in the ever-evolving journey of our brand, just a few days ahead of the equally-important launch of Ferretti Yachts 920, the new maxi flybridge also built in the Cattolica yard,” said Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group.

“These are the two latest masterpieces by a brand which has been capable of winning over all of the main international markets.
By now, Ferretti Yachts has established an enviable global presence, thanks to its innovative and distinctive design philosophy, as well as to its attention to the different needs of yachtsmen worldwide. Judging by the success of Ferretti Yachts 450 and Ferretti Yachts 850, we are certain that the new Ferretti Yachts 780 and the 92-footer will capture the hearts of yachting enthusiasts across Europe, Asia and the Americas."

In the coming months, Ferretti Yachts 780 is set to star at the major boat shows which highlight the Group's busy calendar: after the Ferretti Group Private Preview in Monte Carlo (8-10 September), the model will have its public international premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September).

Next up is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (1-5 November), where Ferretti Yachts 780 will be officially presented to the US market. In early 2018, Ferretti Yachts 780 will be among the guests of honour at BOOT in Düsseldorf (20-28 January 2018).

And finally, during the course of 2018 the model will also debut in the Asia Pacific region, where Ferretti Yachts has long been the standard of excellence for the luxury yachting sector.

Two awards for the Ferretti Yachts 450 in both China and Slovenia

Two awards for the Ferretti Yachts 450 in both China and Slovenia

The latest yacht was named the Best Motor Yacht below 55ft at the Asia Marine & Boating Awards in Shanghai and claimed the top prize in the Motor Yacht over 41 up to 50 feet category at the Adriatic Boat of the Year Awards in Portoroz.

The success of the Ferretti Yachts 450 goes on, as it continues to grow in popularity among owners and the general public all over the globe. The Ferretti Yachts 450 was presented to the sailing world at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 and made its debut in the Asia Pacific region and the United States in recent months. Now it has claimed two awards in a single month, in China and Slovenia.

In Asia, where Ferretti Yachts has been the leading name in luxury sailing since years, the accolade came at the Asia Marine & Boating Awards, which took place in late April at the 22nd China International Boat Show 2017 in Shanghai.
The Ferretti Yachts 450 was named the Best Motor Yacht below 55ft. The judges praised the qualities that make the new boat unique: graceful style, practical design, unparalleled on-board comfort and a dynamically versatile interior layout.

Another triumph came just a few days later in Europe. At the start of Internautica 2017 - which took place in early May in Marina Portoroz, Slovenia - the Ferretti Yachts 450 came first in the Motor Yacht over 41 up to 50 feet category at the Adriatic Boat of the Year Awards.

“The Ferretti Yachts 450 is a very important model for us because it marks the return of Ferretti Yachts to the strategic 40 to 50 feet market. It is popular with owners in our traditional markets, such as Europe and the Americas, and it has also been an instant hit in the Middle East and Asia,” stated Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of the Ferretti Group.

“These two awards from two different continents underline the international nature of Ferretti Yachts and the value of a distinctive, innovative design philosophy. We are very pleased with the prize that we won in Shanghai because it comes from an extremely selective market that appreciates the most exclusive products that are made in Italy. We are also enormously satisfied with the award that we picked up at Internautica, because it is the top boat show on the Adriatic, where enthusiasts from a number of countries have always spent boating holidays on the waves with flybridge models by Ferretti Yachts.”

The Ferretti Group will be showcasing its luxury creations at the 2017 Montenapoleone Yacht Club

Six Group brands will once again dominate the spotlight at this Milan event, thanks to exclusive collaborations with famous names in fashion, accessories and watch making.

As finely crafted as the most sought after accessories, as beautifully tailored as the most exclusive clothing, as unique and cutting-edge as the greatest watches: the affinities between Ferretti Group yachts and the world of high-end luxury continue to grow more frequent and exciting. It is therefore only natural for the Group to once again participate, this time with six of its brands, in MonteNapoleone Yacht Club 2017, the event that will be enlivening the heart of Milan's boutique fashion district from 15 to 21 May, showcasing this successful partnership between the worlds of yachting and fashion/luxury.

The new and marvellous offerings from Riva, CRN, Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama and Custom Line will capture the attention of international visitors to the capital of Italian luxury. Each brand will be paired with an illustrious name in fashion, accessories, or watch making. The prestigious partnerships are: Riva and Dolce&Gabbana, Ferretti Yachts and Piaget, Pershing and Ermenegildo Zegna, Itama and Italia Independent, Custom Line and Etro, CRN and Sutor Mantellassi.

MonteNapoleone Yacht Club 2017, organised by the Associazione MonteNapoleone and sponsored by the City of Milan, is now on its third edition. It owes much of its success to its original concept, which sees the most renowned boutiques in the fashion district transformed into custom-designed sets in keeping with the styles of the most famous international shipyards.

For a week, accurate miniature models of the most beautiful vessels in the Ferretti Group’s fleet, along with images and installations tailor-made for the occasion, will fill the windows and interiors of the boutiques alongside our partner companies’ products, exploring new ways of blending modes of expression and seizing the attention of the public. Among the many dates to mark on your calendar is Tuesday, 16 May, when all Via Monte Napoleone will be transformed into a Marina, with its boutiques playing host to glittering evening cocktail parties, open strictly by invitation.

Ferretti Group at the Montenapoleone Yacht Club 2017

Ferretti Yachts
Once again, in 2017, Ferretti Yachts reaffirms its partnership with Piaget. The historic brand of flybridge yachts, offering a fleet ranging from 14 to 29 metres (45-96 feet), will team up with the Swiss maker of luxury watches and jewellery. The spirits of both are characterised by reliability and attention to detail, which ensure that they continue to strengthen and win the loyalty of customers who appreciate exclusivity and excellence.

Pershing
The super-sporty nature of Pershing, the benchmark brand in the production of high performance coupes from 14 to 43 metres (54-140 feet), joins forces this year with Ermenegildo Zegna, historic Italian luxury apparel and tailoring house. The search for excellence and an innovative spirit are key elements of the design philosophy that gives these two brands such similar DNA, leading to the creation of unique products made with sophisticated materials and details.

Itama
The Mediterranean soul of Itama, the Italian shipyard that produces open yachts from 14 to 24 metres (45-75 feet), known worldwide for the unmistakable style of their hulls, is mirrored once again this year in the dynamic lifestyle and creative spirit of Italia Independent, the eyewear brand established in 2007 by Lapo Elkann. From the time it was created, its goal has been to create products that express a classic style, yet introduce concepts which are new and revolutionary at the same time. The Milanese boutique is ready, exactly like an Itama open yacht, to accommodate the desire for beauty that inspires all those who share a passion for the sea.

Riva
The timeless style and elegance of Riva, a nautical legend with 175 years of history and a fleet ranging from 8 to over 90 metres, are perfectly matched with the genuine and unconventional luxury of Dolce&Gabbana. The union between these two icons of “Made in Italy” style has grown strong over the years, founded on a shared identity and a vision that combines a pronounced tendency towards innovation with attention to the alluring vibrancy of tradition.

CRN
The shipyard specialising in the construction of fully customisable steel and aluminium pleasure craft ranging from 40 to 100 metres is teaming up with Sutor Mantellassi, the Florentine brand founded in 1912 that boasts a high level of craftsmanship, appreciated over the years by famous personalities. Gabriele D’Annunzio, Henry Fonda and Marcello Mastroianni were only some of the many, and it was while wearing a pair of Sutor Mantellassi shoes that the latter left his footprints on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame. Both brands have in common a strong heritage and a tailored approach, from the craftsmen who create personalised footwear for their customers, letting them choose the materials, colours and models, to the experts in the CRN shipyard who have the ability to translate the wishes of yacht owners into nautical masterpieces.

Custom Line
Custom Line, the brand that has won worldwide renown thanks to its fleet of maxi yachts with planing or semi-displacing hulls ranging from 28 to 42 metres, renews its partnership with Etro, the fashion house founded in 1968. Etro is New Tradition, a combination of artisan craftsmanship and creative experimentation. Material, workmanship and a special talent for the use of prints make Etro unique and one-of-a-kind. These are the same values that inspire Custom Line models, distinctive for their completely personalised furnishings and fittings, all tailor-made to suit their owners’ desires.

Ferretti Group at the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous with 15 yachts and a tribute to Carlo Riva

Ferretti Group at the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous with 15 yachts and a tribute to Carlo Riva

• On occasion of the first edition of the new Italian event, from 11th to 14th May, the Group will exhibit a fleet including also the 55-metre CRN Atlante, the flagship of the whole show;
• In a tribute to Carlo Riva, two historic Aquarama models will be on display and, on Thursday, 11th May, the award ceremony for the first “Carlo Riva Prize”, created by Maestro Mimmo Paladino, will take place;
• The Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous will combine yachting with fashion, art and cuisine, landing on different places in Versilia, including Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta.

Ferretti Group takes part in the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous deploying an imposing fleet and honouring a protagonist in its history: Mr. Carlo Riva, who passed away last April. 15 boats, from 8 to 55 metres will represent the brands Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Custom Line, Itama, CRN and the new business unit Ferretti Security & Defence.

Three stands, located in the Europa Dock and Italia Dock, will host an extremely varied fleet with open, coupé, flybridge, maxi and mega yachts, as well as two historic Riva motorboats:

• Ferretti Yachts 450, Ferretti Yachts 700 and Ferretti Yachts 750;
• Aquariva Super, Rivamare, 76’ Bahamas, 76’ Perseo, 88’ Florida and the legendary Aquarama Special and Aquarama Super for the Riva brand;
• Pershing 5X;
• Navetta 33 Crescendo by Custom Line;
• Itama 62;
• the megayacht CRN 55-metre Atlante;
• FSD 195 for Ferretti Security & Defence.

More specifically, the 55-metre CRN Atlante is the largest vessel of the whole Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous.

In a tribute to the greatness of Carlo Riva, the Aquarama Super will be exhibited on land in a dedicated area of the Europa Dock. On May 11th, during a gala dinner at the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini, the first “Carlo Riva Prize” will be assigned; the prize has been created by the artist Mimmo Paladino, one of the Maestros of contemporary art and founder of the Transavanguardia (Transavantguarde) movement. The acknowledgement will be awarded to an eminent representative in the international yachting scene.

“As the second yachting group in the world and founding member of Nautica Italiana, we were absolutely thrilled to join the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous”, explained Mr. Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group.

“Among Italy’s tourist destinations, Versilia is one of the most popular worldwide for its beauty, yachting culture and quality accommodation facilities. It is the perfect setting for an event that promises to become the new showcase for Made-in-Italy luxury yachting and much more, given the participation of so many international brands.

It is here that many years ago the myth of Aquarama was born, the legend of wooden boats that has passed on its elegant and refined style to contemporary boats. This is why I am especially happy that the first Carlo Riva Prize is being held here, to honour the memory of a genius of the 20th century and celebrate great Italian yachting, the standard-bearer of a style admired by the whole world.”

From May 11th to 14th, the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, organised by Nautica Italiana and Fiera Milano, is ready to welcome yachting and Italian style aficionados, with a rich programme of fringe events dedicated to haute cuisine, design, art and fashion. The venue of the show will be the docks of Viareggio, plus over 10 kilometres of Tuscan coast, including popular locations such as Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi.

Huge success in Asia Pacific for the new Ferretti Yachts 850

Huge success in Asia Pacific for the new Ferretti Yachts 850

- Two units already sold in a few months in Thailand and Australia
- Asia Pacific Premiere on the occasion of Ferretti Group Open Days in Hong Kong
- Important recognitions at the Asia Pacific Boating Awards 2017

The appeal of the new Ferretti Yachts 850 is growing by leaps and bounds. The maxi flybridge, outfitted in the renowned Tai He Ban version, with decor and furnishings designed ad hoc to respond to the tastes and uses of Asian owners, also enchanted viewers in Hong Kong.

The occasion was the fourth edition of Ferretti Group Open Days, the event that Ferretti Group Asia Pacific has organised for two years in its own private marina in Aberdeen as a premiere showing of the latest models launched in Asia to owners, guests and journalists.

Following its huge international success – 10 units sold, 2 of which in Asia Pacific – Ferretti Yachts 850 will soon land in Australia and Thailand, the destination countries for the units sold in the region.

The special preview in Hong Kong and the upcoming arrival in these two strategic markets of the Asia Pacific region follow just a few weeks after the honours received at the Asia Pacific Boating Awards 2017, held in Singapore at the beginning of April, where Ferretti Yachts 850 triumphed in the category “Best Flybridge Yacht (above 80 feet)”.

This triumph was ensured by the yacht’s refined design and stylistic features that provide an unparalleled navigation experience.

Ferretti Yachts also won in the category “Best Brand Presence in China”, further underscoring its role as the absolute leader of the nautical sector in China and in the Asian markets in general.

The Awards are given annually by Blu Inc Media Ltd., a luxury publishing house that publishes the most important magazines of reference for the sector in the region, in recognition of the best of the international yachting industry in Asia.

Ferretti Yachts 850

Gutsy and seductive, the Ferretti Yachts 850 dazzles you from the moment you set eyes on it thanks to the clean, dynamic profile featuring clear-cut angles that give it a powerful and aggressive look. And its stunning appearance is just the beginning: the yachting experience itself, in which extraordinary comfort combines with sophisticated design choices, makes it all the more remarkable.

The Ferretti Yachts 850 is the result of a collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, Studio Zuccon International Project – for the external design and the interior layout – and the Group’s Engineering Department, which handled the technical and naval project and the interior design.

Ferretti Group continues on the growth path: 2016 results over the expectations and further investments for more than 46 million euros in 2017.<br />

Wednesday, April 12, 2017

Ferretti Group continues on the growth path: 2016 results over the expectations and further investments for more than 46 million euros in 2017.

Great performance of the first quarter confirms 2017 objectives.

• Consolidated production value reached 562.5 million euros, +36% compared to 2015, The EBITDA of 52.7 million euros compared to 7 million euros in 2015 confirms the strong growth trend;
• Net profit of 2016 reached 14 million euros.

Ferretti Group presented today in Milan the financial results of 2016 and those of the first quarter of 2017. The Group announced the first elements of a two-year investment plan. 2016 results registered a consolidated production value equal to 562.5 million euros, demonstrating 36% growth compared to 414.8 million euros in 2015. This value is also higher than the one established at the beginning of 2016 at 556 million euros.

The EBITDA, already in positive territory in the first quarter of 2016, managed to surpass the important threshold of 50 million euros at the end of the year, reaching 52.7 million euros compared to 7 million of the previous year. Thus, also this indicator was over the expectations. 2016 is the first year of net profit since 2008. Profit After Taxes (PAT) passed from -29 million euros in 2015 to +14.1 million euros in 2016.

“In a three-year period Ferretti Group proved to be a company able to accomplish a real turn around, obtaining great commercial success, which led to well above expected financial results” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. “The new models have become the most important drivers of growth thanks to their design, quality and high standards of innovation, which made them objects of desire since their debut.

I’m particularly proud to have led the Group to double-digit net results: profit which the shareholders, Weichai Group and Mr. Piero Ferrari, who never stop supporting the Group, have decided to wholly re-invest in the company.

Moreover, today we are more than proud that the extraordinary success achieved by the Group gave serenity to Carlo Riva’s last years. The objectives of 2017 are challenging but possible to achieve as we can rely on further investments, on an efficient and well performing organization and on 9 new products that Ferretti Group is ready to present to the market.”

In 2017 the Group’s goal is to consolidate its leadership position in the sector after the last two year’s exponential growth, with a serial brand order intake which reached 401 million euros at the end of 2016, increasing by more than 170 million euros in only two years.

The possibility to reach this challenging objective is supported by 2017’s first quarter results. At 31st of March the production value was 145.8 million euros, while in the same period the EBITDA reached 11.3 million euros, with a profit already over 4 million euros.

Ferretti Group also announced further investments for 46.4 million euros, of which 25 million in Research & Development while 21.4 million in the growth of the production capacity. The investments planned for the shipyards, between the end of 2017 and 2018, could bring to a personnel hiring plan for 80 young talents in all production sites, all over Lombardy, Liguria, Emilia Romagna and Marche.

This growth plan will be implemented only in case of a reduction in the company’s labour costs, which could be possible due to the application of the new Welfare regulations, which at the same time guarantee the increase of the employee’s purchasing power. In order to reach this result, the collaboration of the trade unions is essential, thus Ferretti Group intends to reach an agreement as soon as possible with the latter organizations. The hiring will regard in particular the Ancona shipyard, dedicated to the construction of maxi yachts in steel and aluminium of CRN, Riva and Pershing brands and to those of Custom Line in fiberglass.

The construction of all Custom Line models will be moved to the Group’s “Superyacht Yard” in Marche, where at the moment all semi-displacement vessels are built, enabling to concentrate in Ancona the building of the maxi fibreglass planing yachts too.

A mesmerising Ferretti Group at the Singapore Yacht Show

South East Asia enjoyed 3 premières in a 6-yacht fleet, representing the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Riva brands.

Ferretti Group is rapidly becoming one of the top names in Asia Pacific too. 6 very successful yachts, with 3 making their debut in South-East Asia, will be ready to disembark at the seventh Singapore Yacht Show from April 6th to 9th.

Because expanding also means keeping your promises about being innovative: in terms of the fleet, engineering concept, and a fabulous yachting experience.

The yachts about to drop anchor in Singapore for the first time are the new Ferretti Yachts 450, one of the most successful flybridges in international markets today, and the Pershing 5X - the first in the new “Generation X” Pershing yachts and the last coupé in the fleet. The large-volume Ferretti Yachts 700 sports flybridge is particularly popular in these markets, and will also be celebrating its debut in Asia’s city-state.

Year after year, the Singapore Yacht Show is becoming one of the top events attended by leading boatyards in this part of the continent, attracting guests and enthusiasts from all around Asia as well as Europe and America. The location of the event also plays a hand in its success: the prestigious One °15 Marina Sentosa Cove is a splendid arena covering an area of more than 4000 square metres.

Ferretti Group will be taking part in the 2017 boat show with the support of its exclusive dealer Hong Seh. After coming aboard the floating stand, guests and yacht owners will be able to admire the fleet of 6 splendid 45 to 75 feet yachts on display, representing the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Riva brands. As well as the 3 new yachts, they will also have the opportunity to visit 2 iconic Riva vessels, the 75’ Venere and the 56’ SportRiva, in addition to the Ferretti Yachts 720.

The “South-East Asia premières at the 2017 Singapore Yacht Show

Ferretti Yachts 450
Ferretti Group’s historical brand will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018, and is now proving it is still going strong in the strategic 40 to 50 foot market segment with this flybridge. The yacht was designed with a family feeling with the Ferretti Yachts 550, one of its most recent successes, being its “big brother”. The Ferretti Yachts 450 stands out for the design of its hull, its generous volumes, its elegant looks, and the practical layout of its interiors and exteriors.

Ferretti Yachts 700
The Ferretti Yachts 700 is the evolution of one of the most recent successes of Ferretti Group’s historical brand. Its sleek and aggressive profile makes it one of the sportiest yachts in the brand’s history. The hull has been redesigned to let in more light and offer even bigger views of the sea through the extensive glazing in the hull - three windows on each bulwark - designed to match the others on the new 55 foot yacht without pillars and with the portholes glued and fitted flush. Aboard, the volumes are worthy of much larger yachts and are ideal for enjoying the sailing experience to the full, in close contact with the sea.

Pershing 5x
The first of the “Generation X” Pershing yachts is the latest fabulous coupé in a fleet that is becoming increasingly cutting-edge and spellbinding. The letter X – a code used in the aeronautical world to refer to extreme performance and technological evolution - alludes to the unquenchable thirst to set sail for new horizons at speed. The lines, the propulsion systems and the performance of the Pershing 5X have already won over yachting enthusiasts in Europe and the United States. Now, the super fast “thrill” of the Pershing 5X is ready to seduce yacht owners in Asia too.

“Convergence” 2017: the Ferretti Group’s training sense

Ljubljana, Slovenia, 4 busy days with 90 captains and chief engineers taking part in refresher courses and workshops, including classroom sessions and exciting challenges out on the snow.

They say you meet all of Europe in Ljubljana. This charming middle European town was therefore the natural choice for the Ferretti Group to bring together the expertise and character of about a hundred boating professionals from all over the world.

Indeed, from 14th to 17th March, the Slovenian capital hosted the 2017 edition of “Convergence”, the traditional meeting with professional training and refresher courses that the Ferretti Group organises for captains and chief engineers working on the craft in its fleet.

The goal of the four-day event has been to promote direct discussion on topics linked to the management of the Ferretti Group’s yachts and vessels as well as issues relating to the prevention and management of on-board risks and safety.

On day one, the Top Management and the Engineering Department demonstrated the new projects unveiled between late 2016 and early 2017 which are currently under construction in the Group’s yards, together with the most innovative technologies fitted on board. The audience were also given an update on the significant large yacht refitting operations that are taking place at the renovated Super Yacht Yard in Ancona, alongside the construction of new maxi yachts and vessels for CRN, the Riva Superyachts Division, Pershing and Custom Line.

The educational day on 15th March was very interesting. Two round table workshops took place in the morning. They were divided into CE craft and CLASS boats, run respectively by the RINA certification body and by the Pantaenius and Willis Towers Watson insurance companies. There was a speech in the afternoon for the event’s main partners: Man (engines), Seakeeper (gyroscopic stabilisers), Cummins (engines) and Cummins Onan (generators). The purpose of this meeting was to introduce the products installed on the Group’s yachts, while also providing trouble shooting and maintenance sessions.

The Group’s technical partners took part every day with dedicated corners: Amaregroup (electro-hydraulic drives and glazed window portholes), Dometic (air conditioning systems), Idromar (watermakers), Naviop-Simrad (monitoring and integrated bridge systems), Oceanled-Indemar (underwater lights), Videoworks (infotainment systems), Webasto-Indel Webasto (yacht fridges, chillers and electric roofs) and Wolz Italia (teak decks).

The grand finale took place on the 16th March with the Team Snow Challenge, sponsored by the main partners, in the magnificent snow-capped resort of Krvavec. The captains were divided into ten teams and competed in group activities out on the snow. The final challenge involved a contest to build the best igloo.

The winning group received their award on the final day and participation certificates were handed out. See you at the next “Convergence” in 2018!

Ferretti Yachts 920: grandeur and beauty.

Ferretti Yachts 920: grandeur and beauty.

The second new Ferretti Yachts project for 2017.
Ferretti Yachts 920 is a maxi flybridge with imposing, dynamic lines, a range of spacious areas for relaxation and sophisticated interior furnishings, making it one of a kind in its category. Official launch: early September.

Ferretti Yachts is always thinking bigger and is preparing a memorable 2017. Featuring the eagerly awaited launch of outstanding new yachts, it will underline the dynamic, energetically innovative approach of a brand that will celebrate half a century of success and nautical excellence in 2018.

After the recently announced Ferretti Yachts 780, the second new yacht of 2017 – the Ferretti Yachts 920 – is here. As always, it has been created from the collaboration between the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, along with Studio Zuccon International Project. Construction is already under way at the Ferretti Yachts Cattolica (Rimini) shipyard in preparation for the official launch in September.

The Ferretti Yachts 920 - 28.49m LOA - has a hull measuring 23.98m, which means it can be registered as a recreational craft.
The grandeur of this new maxi flybridge makes an immediate impression.
Its dynamic, irrepressible profile develops the stylistic design features that have led to the international success of recently launched models and have completely modernised the fleet.
The first major new feature involves raising the height of the bow. As well as giving the yacht an imposing presence on the water, this has allowed the addition of a wide-body master suite on the main deck. The detailing on the bulwarks also helps emphasise the yacht’s “aggressive” character, which continues beyond the walkways and cuts into the design of the windows in the master cabin.

The outdoor areas have an impressive amount of relaxation spaces and luxurious furnishings.
The forward space in the bow, in particular, is the largest ever for a Ferretti Yachts vessel of this size. The sun pad on the deckhouse leads into a dinette fitted with two forward-facing sofas, divided by a passageway, and a pair of sofas with adjustable backrests. This creates a large lounge, completed with coffee tables that can be protected and shaded by curtains upon request.

The stern area features a Submersible Hatch, the famous system used to move the garage door and swimming platform, offering guests all the comfort of a spacious beach club and letting the crew handle the tender with ease. Ferretti Yachts 920 can accommodate a tender measuring up to 4m in length.

The cockpit has two possible layouts based on the arrangement of the aft sofa: either a separate sofa, or a chaise longue that can be used as a sun pad or a seat for the outdoor dining table.

The flybridge is a panoramic deck with freestanding furniture, especially amidships and in the stern.
The forward part of the hard top overlooking the lounge area and the outdoor helm station comes with various options: the traditional grey fibreglass covering can be replaced with a blacked-out window, a sun canopy, or variable louvres that shade the area letting an excellent amount of light and air through.

The interiors rival the stunning versions in higher category models.
The main deck divides up the space, bathing it in natural light. The on-board architecture and décor develop the fascinating leitmotif already enjoyed on the successful Ferretti Yachts 850, while also benefiting from more available space and the use of luxurious materials.
It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with the rooms conveying an original elegance.
Structural panelling typical of residential architecture, panoramic windows and veneer finishes with textures that accentuate the depth of the spaces are combined with the expert use of leathers, turning the Ferretti Yachts 920 into a floating Penthouse. The captivating ceiling back-lighting system completes the lounge’s contemporary appeal.

The wide-body master suite perfectly conveys this metropolitan style, in keeping with the latest furnishing trends. The bed is supported by a dark recessed base, as if it were “floating”, and is surrounded by low furniture along the bulwarks, leaving space for the large windows.
There is a vanity desk on the starboard side, while the full-beam bathroom is located forward on a slightly lower level. A walk-in closet completes the suite.
The central area of the deck is designed to control the circulation flows on board. There is a lobby to the starboard side with a storage area, day toilet and stairs down to the lower deck. There is a large galley on the port side which leads up to the helm station, or to the first technical and system monitoring area if you continue forward, after which there are stairs leading down to the crew quarters.

The main area of the lower deck is available in two layouts: the version on the first unit includes 3 large en suite cabins, all fitted with a separate wardrobe area.
This exclusive layout offers guests a full-beam double suite amidships worthy of a master cabin, and a second VIP suite on the port side with the exact same set-up. A comfortable third cabin with single beds completes the sleeping area. The 4-cabin layout is organised into two en suite double cabins on the port side and two doubles with single beds on the starboard side.
Great attention is paid to the crew: in addition to the large dinette with laundry area, the captain can enjoy a private en-suite cabin, while the crew can relax in two double cabins with a bathroom fitted with a separate shower. A second layout is also available for this area with a captain's cabin at the foredeck.

The pilothouse is an exclusively technical area with a “futuristic” design. Here, the captain can manage the entire yacht thanks to a large control station with multiple touchscreen display that fully integrates the on-board monitoring system and navigation instruments, along with a next-gen steering system.

The Ferretti Yachts 920 is available with three different types of MTU engine.
The standard model is powered by twin 12V 2000 M96L 1948 Mhp engines, which can be upgraded to twin 16V engines, respectively 2000 M86 generating 2217 Mhp and 2000 M96 with 2435 Mhp.
Their respective performances are 23, 24 and 26 knots cruising speed and 26.5, 28 and 30 knots maximum speed, depending on the chosen engine configuration (preliminary data).
The boatyard can install zero-speed fins or Seakeeper stabilisers on board the Ferretti Yachts 920, upon request.

The "USA premieres" at "Yachts Miami Beach" 2017

FERRETTI YACHTS 450
With this new model Ferretti Yachts returns to dominate the 40-to50-feet flybridge yachts strategic market. Ferretti Yachts 450 is distinguished by the hull geometry, the amplitude of the volumes, elegance and functionality in setting the interior by enhancing a family feeling with the "big brother" Ferretti Yachts 550, one of the biggest recent successes of the brand.

RIVA 88’ DOMINO SUPER
The 88’ Riva Domino Super immediately strikes the eye for its slender, streamlined profile, which is further highlighted by the dark grey hull. Other important design solutions bear witness to the great value of this evolution:
- the new sundeck that enhances the yacht’s sporty character and offers guests additional comfort;
- the outdoor pilot station that has been moved to the central part of the boat and has a very limited size, thereby making room for a large sofa at the bow;
- the large uninterrupted hull glazing, featuring a very aggressive design, extends across the yacht, almost like an arrow, from the central part of the boat to the extreme bow.

Premiering in Germany at BOOT 2017

Ferretti Yachts 450
This flybridge suggests the brand’s return to preside over the strategic zone between the 40 and 50 foot. The model was inspired by a family feeling and a connection to its “big sister”, Ferretti Yachts 550, one of the recent hits of the brand. Ferretti Yachts 450 is characterized by the geometry of the hull, the size of the volume, and the elegance and functionality of the interiors.

Pershing 5X
The first model of "Generation X" Pershing is the new coupe of the fleet: always more advanced and always more filled with surprises. The letter X - aeronautical code referring to extreme performance and cutting-edge technological evolution - evokes the endless push to sail to new horizons at extreme speed. The pure lines, performance and uniqueness of the Pershing 5X have already conquered the public.

Rivamare
This new icon in style and design writes an exciting and splendid page in the 175 years of Riva history. The great first of the Sarnico shipyard is a gem of sinuous lines, precious material, unique details, and worthy heir to masterpieces such as Aquariva Super and, before that, Aquarama. This is a contemporary masterpiece.

Ferretti Yachts 700
Ferretti Yachts 700 is the evolution of one of the most recent successes of the historic brand of the Ferretti Group. The streamlined and aggressive profile is among the sportiest in the brand's history. The hull has been modified to welcome light and sea views thanks to large hull-shaped windows, three on each side, designed in the family style like the ones on the new 55 foot, without uprights and glued flush portholes.
