FERRETTI YACHTS TRIUMPHS IN CHINA: THE FERRETTI 570 WINS THE CHINESE YACHTING INDUSTRY AWARD AS THE BEST MOTOR YACHT BELOW 160 FEET. THE AWARDING CEREMONY WAS HELD ON THE OPENING DAY OF THE 2012 XIAMEN INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Forlì, November 12th, 2012 - Ferretti Yachts, the icon of made-in-Italy yachts at a worldwide level and a historical brand of the Ferretti Group, has received another outstanding international acknowledgement during the opening ceremony of the Xiamen International Boat Show, the important Chinese boat show, which has reached its fifth edition this year. The prestigious Chinese Yachting Industry Award was indeed awarded to the Ferretti 570, which was recognised as the Best Motor Yachtin the category below 60 feet in length. Moreover, Speedo Marine - the local dealer with whom the Ferretti Group displayed an Altura 840 during the Xiamen Show - was selected as the best dealer on the Chinese market. The Chinese Yachting Industry Award is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the boating sector: the yachts are indeed assessed by a highly qualified jury that selects the new reference models for the Chinese market. The Ferretti 570 is a unique craft in its category, conceived to meet the needs of owners of all ages by ensuring outstanding liveability onboard thanks to large volumes, top-quality materials, total comfort and extraordinary performances - a perfect balance skilfully achieved as a result of the long-standing cooperation between Studio Zuccon International Project, AYT Advanced Yacht Technology (Ferretti Group’s research and naval design centre), and the team of architects and designers of the Centro Stile Ferrettigroup. The Ferretti 570 features all the precious elements of the boatyard’s design tradition, which have evolved to obtain three important strengths: an innovative underdeck layout, the greatest possible care for details - with unusual, contemporary décor solutions - and a new, exclusive glazing design to further increase interior brightness. The hull’s outer lines are slender and sporty thanks to the sky-lounge without roll bar and the presence of the aft spoiler, while the new design of the glazing results in a light, very refined style and unequalled elegance.
